Justin Timberlake has revealed a very delicate private detail about his life. He said to Collider.com:

I have OCD mixed with ADD. You try living with that. It’s complicated.”

To those, who don’t know what that is I’ll explain.

The problem of Attention Deficit Disorder is not inattention, but over-attention. Person with over-focused form of ADD tends to get stuck on thoughts or behaviors and they have trouble shifting their attention from thought to thought. Attention deficit is often reffered as Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.

David Beckham, Jessica Alba and Cameron Diaz have all admitted to suffering from OCD - psychiatric anxiety disorder often characterized by obsessive thoughts, compulsions or rituals.

Whatever! This is so laim to claim you have OCD, only when it’s coming from JT it’s cute. He says:

I get butterflies. You just kind of get caught up in the electricity of it. Oh, yeah, that still happens to this day. And when that stops happening, you should stop. It’s addictive, you know what I mean?”

The 27-year-old super star revealed the condition affects many parts of his daily life. He is irritated making sure objects are always lined up perfectly.

US Open - Timberlake, Romo break 100

Pop star Justin Timberlake and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo confounded prevailing opinion among the world's leading players to break 100 on the South Course at Torrey Pines, the stage for this year's US Open.

Tiger Woods, Steve Flesch and Ernie Els were among a sizeable contingent to suggest no amateur could go inside three figures on the notoriously demanding 7,643-yard course.

"I don't see it happening," said Woods last week. "People don't realize how thick the rough is, and how difficult it is controlling shots."

"It'll be like five hours of root canal," said Flesch. "It's hard enough for any amateur to play a Tour course we play on, much less a US Open track."

Timberlake and Romo were joined by NBC presenter Matt Lauer and competition winner John Atkinson to compete in Golf Digest's US Open Challenge, a televised round to be screened as a precursor to the final round of the Major on Sunday 15th June.

Timberlake, who plays off two but has not posted an official score in three years, returned a 27-over-par round of 98, while Romo went round in a highly respectable 84 to win the competition. The NFL star is no mug, however, and has posted respectable totals in attempting to qualify for the US Open on three occasions.

Lauer carded a round 100, while cancer survivor Atkinson - who emerged from 56,000 entrants to earn the right to play - scored 114.

Lauer had good friend Greg Norman on his bag for the round, and the Great White Shark reflected on an an elightening afternoon for club golfers the world over.

"This was a reality check," he said. "A player on a municipal course with no rough who shoots 90 thinks they should feel good about it.

"This was the extreme, ultra test. These guys aren"t used to walking 18 holes, the fatigue that comes with it, the blood sugar dropping and losing the mental focus. But you have to find a way to come back in the moment."

Oh, this is too much! No matter how much I love Madonna what she did to Justin Timberlake during their Four Minutes performance last night in New York was over the top.

Poor guy, I mean poor boy, he did so well in hiding the awkward feelings he had when she pinned him against the wall and did some ridiculous moves rubbing her 50 years old body against him. Well, she has a nice fit body, but still… yak!

I’m sure many guys would love to be at Justin’s place but c’mon, it’s Justin! When she was on top of her popularity back in 80s Justin, 27 just started talking. So Madonna, 50 could easyly be his mother.

Justin Timberlake has a good work ethic.

You can just tell by the way he performs. Maybe it's because he grew up in the South and has been performing since he was a child and all those years on the Mickey Mouse Club taught him a little something about putting on a good show. It's that same upbringing that makes him incapable of addressing elders without the requisite "Sir" or "Maam" -- the sort of politeness that he exhibits when he's Punk'd by Ashton Kutcher and still manages to say "please" and "thank you" to the people breaking his stuff.

You know that JT has a good work ethic because even though doors opened at 11:00 pm and he didn't go on until 1:30 am, he arrived at Roseland at 9:30 pm and was dutifully performing the sound check along with the other musicians while we, and hundreds of others, stood outside Roseland. It's that same work ethic and sincerity that renders it impossible to believe that he really doesn't give a fuck whether the crowd at Roseland enjoyed his show or not.

Middle Fingers

JT wants us to believe he doesn't care. And he wants us to know he's bad and no longer a Mousekateer or *NSYNCer -- that's why he uses the middle fingers (both, actually) now, swills beers between songs and pantomimes smoking pot. He's eager to look bad. And he knows how to do eager well. That eagerness and sincerity is the essence of Justin Timberlake. That eagerness is why we love JT.

But the thing is, you can't fault JT for the fronting -- or frontin' as he might be likely to say. Justin is a born performer and that very same eagerness and general love for what he's doing can also translate as dorkiness. But when he tries to seem bad, it's not like K-Fed trying to seem bad. This partly has to do with one being talented and one being K-Fed. But it's more than that. JT actually seems like a nice guy and someone that is dedicated to make you feel the same way about music that he does. And K-Fed seems like the type of guy who makes his pregnant wife jog next to his golf cart while he drinks a frappuccino and smokes.

All you have to do is watch the video of his entrance to understand the dilemma that JT faces. Here, standing in general admission and having waited two and three and four hours in line to see him perform are all the girls that made JT's career. Sure, they're older and a little worse for wear than when they listened to No Strings Attached, but they're still there. And they know how to scream.

And then up in the mezzanine you have the celebrities -- many of them familiar with crafting their image to serve a certain role and fill a gap in the music industry. The folks we saw -- Pink, Diddy (who I half-expected to have had someone with him to clap for him), Nick Lachey are there either as fans or friends or both. And Justin as a performer, performs to them as well.

It all reminded of the scene in Grease where Danny is all excited to see Sandy but when his friends catch this excitement he reverts back into "cool" and "aloof" Danny. As a musician, if the audience doesn't like the songs of FutureSex/LoveSounds, he's comfortable issuing the big FU. As a performer with fans, he's got to let us know he loves us.

Let Me Hear You New York

Even with the frontin' -- actually even because of the frontin' -- Justin Timberlake knows how to give his fans a memorable and, dare I say, amazing performance. He brings his musical guests up on stage with a sort of grace similar to someone inviting a dear friend into their living room after a long trip. He makes you believe that his job up on stage is not only to entertain the concert goers, but also those who have stopped by to say hello. As Ben said in his own post, this graciousness and comfort in letting others perform their own stuff on his stage makes you realize what confidence is really about. It's certainly not just saying he doesn't care, it's taking the chances and showing he cares through taking risks. It's these risks and talent that make Justin someone you're willing to fly across the country to see perform.

JT, How I Love Thee

The JT concert that I went to last Friday was unbelievable. It was absolutely great and I am sooo glad I was able to go.

First off, let's back up a little. I used to be an 'N Sync fan. Some might say I was obsessed. But I like to refer to it as devotion. Yes, I had posters and lots of them. Yes, I used to tape every TV program they were on. Yes, I practiced out my signature as "Angela Timberlake" on more than one occasion. Yes, I've been to a handful of concerts of theirs, and yes, I did spend $200 for one ticket before. (Seventh row, baby!)

But that was the past. I grew up a lot since then. Now I am simply just a JT fan. Not a crazy one, just an admirer of his talents. The posters are gone. I don't see all of his TV appearances and I am OK with that. I no longer hope to marry him (although it might pop up in a dream once in awhile... ;)) And this is the first concert I've been to of only his and the first time I saw him in any concert in probably about 6 or 7 years.

However as I saw him in concert, the memories of my past brought me back to my time of "devotion." I stood up and danced and screamed (well I tried to scream, no sound actually came out as I was recovering from a sore throat/cough). But his show was really amazing. He danced wonderfully, sang beautifully, played the piano and guitar gracefully, and entertained magnificently.

Even though our seats were up in the 2nd tier, they still felt like great seats because of how the stage was set up. It was an awesome stage. It was circular (or semi-circular) and there were two bands on two sides. They even had a bar as part of the stage where the people I'm assuming who were VIP were able to sit up close and order a drink from a fully stocked bar. During the show, dancers were even dancing on the bar.

There was also a great light show and the stage/lights never failed to look anything less than awesome. And even Timbaland made a surprise appearance and joined in in a few songs. Pink, who was the opening act, was also great.

Anyways, just trust me on the fact that it was a great show. If you don't believe me, just ask my boyfriend who used to constantly make fun of me for liking JT and 'N Sync. But now, he's the one who has been humming and singing his songs for the past few days.

So yeah, not obsessed... just devoted. =P

We got JT tickets, woo! I must say that the presale ticket buying process was an expensive and a traumatic experience. Initially fans were told that you could only purchase presale tickets if you forked out £25 for fanclub membership (which only got you access to buy two tickets anyway). As soon as we did that, luckily we hadn't bought four memberships for the eight of us, they opened free presale access for fans on the mailing list. All that plus the tickets were £57.50 each!! That's more than double the price of tickets for his Justified tour back in 2004.

But who cares?! It's JT!

The day his album came out the girls and I were in a hotel in a remote town on the Scottish coastline, recovering from the night before. 'Twas not easy finding a shop that would sell the new release let me tell you! We found a Morrisons luckily enough and then listened to the album all the way back to Glasgow. "My Love" was an instant hit and was played continuously all the way home. On a second listen back at the ranch though, the title track and "Lovestoned" stand out for me.
